Polishing
By removing scratches and other microscopic blemishes, polishing and buffing equipment gives metal, glass, wood, and fiberglass surfaces a smooth, glossy finish. In preparation for buffing, polishing equipment use fine abrasive grit to remove microscopic defects. Buffing equipment produces a glossy finish by removing any brushed or lined surface marks left over from polishing. Fine abrasive fillers are added to greases and molded into bars or liquid buffing and polishing chemicals. To help fill in and eliminate small lines, they're added to cloth or fiber buffing and polishing pads, bonnets, and felt bobs. Fine lines are erased from polished and buffed surfaces, making them look finished and attractive while also making them easier to clean.
